Stepping Into Spring

It's officially Spring time and I am excited to shop around for some more plant babies. I had no clue about the benefits of certain plants that can be beneficial to our health and household. I never thought in a million years that I would call myself a Plant Mom  but here I am a mom of two lol. Since it is Spring Time, and if you are like me, you will be doing some "Spring Cleaning" around your home and most likely getting some new decor. Adding some real greenery in your space will really make a difference, not just for aesthetic purposes, but for a whole energy shift. Before I even purchased my first plant which is my baby "Bella" she is a Snake Plant I dd some real research. For one, I need plants that require low maintenance and two, I need something that will help with good vibes in my household. My home is my sanctuary and plants just gives a vibe that makes you feel chill and positive. They say plants boosts your mood, productivity, and so forth. They also say that plants reduce stress and fatigue, but most importantly... it cleans toxins that is in the air.  What more can you want?

What should your first plant be?

I think everyone's first plant should be a snake plant. However, everyone is not the same. It's all up to you and the vibes you get when you go to purchase one. I went to Home Depot to get my plants. The sales associate in the garden department was very knowledgeable and taught me a few things I had no clue about. I know this might sound funny, but I talk life into my plants. I speak them affirmations honey... An example would be "Flourish girl...You Got This" or "Look at you growing oh so beautifully" my actual kids look at me crazy lol.

I went ahead and purchased a new baby because I feel like Bella needed a sister. She is a Raven ZZ Plant and I named her "Lizzy" what attracted me to this beauty was the black and green leaves. Like come on those aesthetics alone is life.... I can't wait to see how she grows. The sales associate also told me that this plant is known for good luck and good fortune... fingers crossed. lol

These beauties caught my eye and they will definitely make it to my outside garden one day.

What are some plants that you recommend? What are your favorite plants?

Later Love Bugs,
